Nouakchott → Atar → Azoueiga → Mheireth → Chinguetti → Ouadane → Atar → Ben Amira → Atlantic Coast → Nouakchott
Day 1 – Nouakchott
Arrival and welcome. Short city tour and visit to the traditional fishing port.
Day 2 – Nouakchott → Atar → Azoueiga
Departure towards Atar, then continue to Azoueiga. Explore the dunes, enjoy sunset and camp in the desert.
Day 3 – Azoueiga → Mheireth → Chinguetti
Visit the beautiful Mheireth oasis, then continue to Chinguetti to explore the historic old city and spend the night.
Day 4 – Chinguetti → Ouadane
Morning visit to Chinguetti, followed by a journey to Ouadane. Discover the historic town and surrounding desert landscapes.
Day 5 – Ouadane → Atar
Departure from Ouadane towards Atar. Lunch in Atar, followed by some free time and a short city tour.
Overnight in Atar.
Day 6 – Atar → Ben Amira
Departure towards Ben Amira. Visit the impressive monolith and surrounding desert area, with the possibility of seeing the Iron Ore Train, depending on its schedule.
Day 7 – Ben Amira → Atlantic Coast
Continue towards the Atlantic coast. Beach camping, traditional dinner and sunset by the ocean.
Day 8 – Atlantic Coast → Nouakchott
Breakfast and a relaxing morning by the ocean, followed by the return journey to Nouakchott and transfer to the airport.
